Bronco Premiere!

I would go back and like every single time you ever said "put a 2.9l in it."

This gets me a little closer to busting out my checkbook... love the way they give us the first peek with a race prepped version. Just a hint of what the production vehicle will look like. Hopefully they're all in on making it the 1st overall winner in it's debut... The original Bronco made some pretty big shoes to fill.

I can't believe the engineering team has been living under a rock and don't understand the importance of aftermarket support for bolt on accessories. I also don't believe they will launch the Bronco without a catalog full of those accessories and performance parts. I base my opinion on the recent announcement for the current Ranger with the ARB winch bumper right off the showroom floor. I would bet money ARB is busy engineering not only bumpers... but roof racks and suspension upgrades... and everything in between.

The only question for me at this point is.... can I get one in Lithium Gray please.

See the first gen BII?

I told Ford that there is a big Bronco II following, and asked that they keep them (Bronco II enthusiasts) in mind when they launch the new Bronco. Especially since this new Bronco shares the Ranger platform like the Bronco II did.

Since they will share the same frame, does this make the new Bronco the Bronco II, or does it make the new Ranger a full size? Are they claiming the new Bronco is a full size SUV, or that both are midsized?

Its a midsize.

Im surprised ford even put a BII in that video. Id think they would wanna distance themselves from the BIIs undeserved reputation as a rollover waiting to happen.

Maybe I skimmed over it, but did they mention engine and trans combo?

Undeserved? Well deserved. I have had several. They are not for just anybody. The jacking ... that is inherent with ttb....especially with the d28 width and b2 wheelbase makes for a wobbly goblin in many scenarios.

Awesome on trails though.

....:(. I test drove a fully loaded 2019 Ranger a couple months ago. Don’t like it, and I sure as hell wouldn’t pay $40k for one.

What don't you like? I am seriously interested.

And compared to what?

I like the Colorado back seat and bed better. I like the diesel as well.

But even the cost out of pocket to add a front locker to the trail control system..... 40 k isnt too bad in this market and the truck will be a monster for trail duty...ifs and all.

They are a bit bigger then I would prefer but this thing is a winner in my eyes.

I was hoping for a 26 k base 4x4 but not gonna happen.

The truck itself...the ones I have driven thus far I absolutely enjoy. Based on my previous Ecoboost vehicles it exceeded my expectations.

I drove trs 2 back to back with a few versions of the 19,s and there is no comparison....and I love trs 2 compared to my ranger. But, to be fair my truck is almost as nice as a conastoga wagon compared to anything else ...so it's a pretty low bar.

There's a few issues that are minor....overall it's my favorite of current market.

Ford CEO fawked up with the new cd6 explorer platform. My wife does not like those so that is why 150 is the next prime option. But I am pushing for a 4 door bronco pretty hard .....

Apparently I am the only one that likes the ranger at my house....
