the Lawn Mower thread.

I grow squash too... zucchini, acorn and butternut. The zucchini... I cut into spears and make spicey dill refridgerator pickles by the gallon. Also slice into about 1/2 inch thick slices... olive oil and garlic salt... grill like a burger. The acorn squash... I halve them and fill them with meatloaf mix. The butternut... thats just squash. However... the acorn and butternut will store for months in my cool dark basement storage room.

We planted white cucumbers this year. I don't like the taste. Just isn't for me. The wife pickled 20 jars of cucumbers this weekend.

So is this the Garden Thread now?:icon_confused:

Well you dont use a lawnmower in your pool...

You mow your garden??

I have used my weedhacker on it before...

Not really crazy about squash in general although I did have spaghetti squash while suffering on behalf TRS at the Ranger reveal in Detroit last year, that was pretty neat stuff but I have no idea how to prepare it:

Spaghetti Squash... To prepare it ... you halve it and rub...

I would prepare it by digging a shallow hole, filling it with said spegehti, lighting it on fire, let burn for 12 minutes, fill in the hole, and finish by never speaking of it to another living soul.

s'all good. ya'll seem to be enjoying the squash talk, so imma sit back and let it be.

Squash talk leads to eggplant talk.... and we all know what eggplant talk leads to.

Dice eggplant into 1 inch cubes... in a hot oiled cast iron skillet...
