New tools you've bought recently?

Yeah, I picked up one of the corded HF band/finger sanders awhile back and a big pack of belts from Amazon because HF was out of belts when I bought it. Super handy for sure. I did go and tack on a thumb screw on one of my bolt/nut orders so I can change belts without an Allen key

I started off with the Harbor Freight mini air powered belt sander and rarely use it at all after buying the Milwaukee cordless one. That is one tool they got perfect on the first try, it's just incredibly handy and will sand at really low speeds and really high speeds under a heavy load without bogging out like the air one does. It's just so much more controllable.

The 3M Cubitron belts are the shit by the way, don't waste your money on anything else. They keep cutting pretty well until the grit is totally gone and they last forever.

Went to an estate sale today and ended up with a propane torch that has a full on regulator and goes to a standard propane tank with like a 10' hose, should be handy for those big heating jobs where having a 1lb tank would be annoying... also ended up with a Starrett 1-2" micrometer that needs some oil and steel wool work but after a little oil works just fine.

Also ended up with a decent amount of hose clamps and some other random stuff...

I got this very expensive ruler today at a pawn shop for $3. The guy at the counter instantly knew what it was and was grumbling a bit because someone else put it in the cheap used junk bins. Also got a 3/8 snap-on T handle for $3... substantial grumbling there too.

Where to begin. I keep having to remind myself that it's still cheaper than having a shop do my head gaskets and timing chains. And I get to keep all of the tools.

Engine hoist
Engine stand
Load leveler
Top creeper
A new shiny ratchet
Wobble socket set
E torx set
Machinist straight edge
OTC timing tool kit
Valve spring compressor

Dang... y'all buying fancy tools is making me jealous.

I did buy a M18 8.0 forge battery... the leaves are starting to fall.
