Dear Ford, Why!?!

Just insult a 2.9 and you get a free season pass...

I just end up playing musical cup and moving cup from one side to the other depending on whether I am backing up or going forward.

In order to take a drink from my cup, or what ever, I have to take my eyes off the road, and my hand off the steering wheel. Doing that for a cellphone is illegal.

You have to look at a cup to pick it up and drink from it?

I never have to take my eyes off the road with Contigo Autoseal bottles. I carry ice tea with me wherever I go. I love these things. Autoseal with the pushbutton works well, it's easy to clean inside the cap, and it can be thrown in to the floorboard at high speed or hard braking without leaking a drop. I've never used the little flapper lid. It stays folded back permanently.

So how do you spit into that thing? :icon_confused:

Or what if you need more than some tea to get through your day?

Yes. I think most people do, don't they? Regardless, it's not just the taking your eyes off the road, it's taking your hand off the steering wheel and holding something. Here, I can not even HOLD my phone while I'm driving. Strangely enough, though, the law doesn't (YET) say I can't hold a drink, or a snack. But the question is, SHOULD I?

What's the law say about this guy?? Other than he's probably speeding.

I agree with Dirtman. Coffee in right hand, cigarette in left while changing gears and manual steering. I don't know what USB is for by my truck starts and runs just fine without it. A dang lighter would come in handy though!
