I figure I'll start a thread for this build. This is an extremely small budget build. I don't want to spend anymore money than absolutely necessary...I'll see how that works out...lol I'm basically putting three trucks together to make one. She's gonna be a strictly trail only truck (hence the Dodge and trailer...lol) Onto the pictures...

This truck got cut up and scrapped. It's donating the 4.0L, M50D, leather bucket seats, push bar and tires.

I'm using the body and frame from this truck. The paint is only a couple years old and beautiful.

And I picked this one up for $100 last weekend. Not a bad score. D44, 9" with a 4" lift. This ones donating axles and suspension. (Sorry about the crappy cell phone pics)

Well I got some more work done this past weekend. We stripped the body off of the F150 to make it a little easier to work on. And she'll be lighter for her trip to PA from MI.

nice project. almost looks like my 89 i am trying to put together. keep the pics coming

There won't be too many pics til about a week and a half. I'm just prepping her for the trip to PA right now. Next weekend I'll be at home. I've only got three weeks at home. So she has to be done in those three weeks, or at least be able to make it on the trailer, but I'm really hoping for done.

either way look forward to seeing it done. good look:icon_cheers:

Day 1 carnage. Day 1 was surprisingly productive. I got the axle out and the coils relocated and the axle positioned under the truck.

Wow... your actually doing something productive on your ranger... looks good... cant wait till its back up here....

Got the front done today for the most part. I'm happy with everything but the steering. It's a homebrew crossover setup for now. It should work ok on the trail for a little. I'm going to have to buy an actual crossover kit, before I do too much though. Also started tearing the rear out.
