Blackwidow reborn


I sit the motor really low in the chassis. I didn't have a problem with my last truck. But this one I won't know for a little while. Still a ways away from sticking the motor in
 
351 aint cheap to build right and 400 plus hp. usually a pig on fuel in any case.

Hey guys. Long time no see. I'm back. And after more than 2 years. I'm tackling another ranger build. Engine and all. And yes, this one will be all ford :icon_thumby:

1990 ranger shortbed 2wd 2.3 5 speed. Got off my uncle for 500 and drove it 700 miles home :headbang:

Drivetrain is a 93 mustang ho 5.0 that's been rebuilt. Worked aluminum svo heads. Roller e303 cam. 96 f150 4.9 5-speed. 97 explorer 8.8 3:73 rear

So still gather parts and pics. But here's the truck how I bought it

The early 60s motor mounts worked good for me on my 89 . I set mine back a little farther than you so I could use so block hugger header that came with the motor.

Man I had to dig to bring this one back to date

Project took another turn. I was actually planning a 4.6 swap. But a low mileage 95 mustang fell into my lap. And the engine and t5 behind it were the perfect choice for my intentions with the truck. So I pulled the old girl from her resting spot. And am getting back into it. So stay tuned. Within the next 3 weeks. She'll be road worthy again!
