The Ranger still hasn't moved an inch in the last month, the OBA cycled enough times to drain both batteries, and I haven't even taken the time to jump it and let it warm up….I have had everything to upgrade all the power steering pump inlet to 3/4" and a way to meter the flow out, but.....The ole 150 has been getting most of my attention.
I did a little digging and found a place that still makes clear marker lenses for the 80-86. I wanted to put silver star bulbs in like my Ranja, but they have been discontinued and are $25+ a pair now on Ebay, so I picked up some chrome plated amber bulbs so the lights don't have that ugly amber glow when they are off.
The truck came with some shitty Wal-Mart special radio that was just thrown in the dash, so I looked for a factory 86 radio and bracketry, but couldn't find anything under $200 in decent shape. I decided to go with an 87-92 stock radio since they had a factory clock and still came in the two speaker configuration. Not to mention stock Ford radios always seemed to have way better reception than any aftermarket, To get the newer radio to fit I had to make an adapter harness using an aftermarket pigtail and some OEM 87-92 harness (courtesy of 036Speed) I also had fab up a quick bracket to mount it.
Even though I have an auto now, I still like to keep an eye on my RPMs, and last time I was at the local yard I scored a cluster with a factory tach and a trip meter (my stock cluster lacked both), but the needles were badly faded and not all the same shade either.lol I used a little Allis-Chalmers Corporate Orange and a Q-tip to bring them back to life.
I had the wheels off to do front shocks, and I noticed the driver rotor was pretty grooved. Turns out the slide pins were frozen and the outer driver pad is toast. So I did the only thing that made sense to solve the issue....I picked up new bearings, rotors, pads, big piston calipers, hoses, 1-Ton 1.125" bore master, and a hydroboost unit.

I am still trying to decide where to mount the trans temp gauge, I am thinking of building a pod that mounts on the column like the old school tachs, but I am not going to worry about that until I have the lines disconnected to plumb a trans cooler in anyway.
The same yard I scored the cluster from also had a two tone Bronco with a dark blue lower half. I pulled the front bumper filler panel in hopes that it would match my blue so I could use it when I replace the passenger fender that is also crunched in. I lucked out, because the paint matched 100%, now I just need a straight chrome bumper and maybe luck out on a dark blue fender.
