PlumCrazy's Build

The last of my November Summit order finally showed up...the last 6 nuts for the head studs, and a brass freeze plug set.

For some reason I decided to buy an extra set of hubs.lol Someone found my want to buy add from when I destroyed one a while ago and offered them at a price I couldn't refuse.lol

Still fiddling with my power steering too. I have a solution figured out and have the parts to do it. But dads IDI wouldn't start and it ended up being my problem for some reason, so I didn't get to touch the truck.lol Good old mechanical lift pumps. $26 fix and she fired right up.

And I picked up this little fella for a side project..

Little under $200. It needs a little TLC, and put back together, but its still nice a tight. The chuck is shot, but they are pretty cheap for these little lathes. Temporally I can throw a 1/2" drill chuck on it for little projects. I also didnt get a center for it, but they are only $30-$50.

I should have it going tomorrow. The guy before me used it for wood and had saw dust and wood chips packed in everything.

If I keep dumping money into this power steering setup....it will work.lol

And bought this little fella..

'86 F150, FI 5.oh, C6, 2wd... Has just a tick over 70K on the clock and runs like new. Only thing it needs really is the dual tank switching valve fixed and then I am doing all the filters, fluids, and a tune up.

I look at those blue anodized fittings and all I see is $$$. A few more and you could bought a second truck lol.

And I agree, if you keep spending money the power steering will work... but you'll look back at it and just shake your head lol :icon_rofl:

Summit brand fittings and Fragola hose ends...They are actually cheaper than brass barbs. I wanted AN/JIC swivels on the reservoir so I can remove the lines without cutting the hose back 1/2" every time it gets stuck on the barbs.lol

Forgot to post this up...

Put the Warn to work..

New DD/Tow Rig for a while. Eventually a toy....maybe a centrifugal blower and bagged.
