Kyle M's Ranger Rebuild

Got a new 13.5" led light bar

Then I modded my door hinges so I don't need to pull pins any more. I cut the top of the hinge off the cab, then welded a bolt into the door so it just drops in like a jeep door.

I did that because I got a set of tube doors I'm gonna put on and need a quick way of swapping them... Works pretty well!

Read the thread. Awesome. Completely awesome. When I get the funds ill get my build done and head up to Dom comps. Thanks for the inspiration .

looks really good...

only comment, not really a criticism, is that I would route the hoses in a little less exposed manner...

Awesome! What valve did you use? And specs on that cylinder?

I got a good perverted laugh out of the last pic... Nice bumpstop!

If I'm not mistaken, there were more than a few comments along the same lines when he built the bumpstops...

Not really sure what else to do with them. They are out of the way but not muck room to put them. Maybe a bungee cord to hold them up to the frame?

I used a 115cc orbital, and a 2"x8" single ended ram. About 3 turns lock to lock.

The bumps, lol, limp black penors... Yup, heard it many times lol

You are right!

Not afraid of bending the tie rod with it pusing on the centre of the link?

No, not really. Plenty of people do it like this. If I bend it I will change it up.

In the next month or 2 it's gonna go thru some changes anyway, this might be like this for only one run.... Time will tell

The hydro looks good to me. I don't think you'll have issues. I'd like to package my assist cylinder on top as well if I have the room.

Been running mine identical for over a year. Only issue I had was when I slammed a rock head on and bent the bar up into the axle mount for the ram breaking the ram itself.

keeping it now?

Yup, I am. It's getting 4 linked rear, 3 or 4 link front, truss's, new body panels, tranny work, motor work, tube work....gonna be fun!

Scrapped the buggy plan and sold it all off....
