My 91 Ranger the stRanger

Oh and I took a day off and went into the mountains and got some fishing done

What kind of shackles and leaf springs are you running on that ranger? And what kind/size of shock?

Getting close to dropping a 78-79 ford d44 n 9" under my 86 b2, and looking for ideas

I like the ride height I bet it performs real nice.

The rear is skyjacker 6inch leafs and a beltech shackle. I am running 12" bilsteins at all corners. I made my own upper rear shock mounts, and I could definitely remake them and utilize a longer shock, but overall the performance is really good.

I take it a lot of these photos are from instagram? If so, whats ypur name on there? You're definitely a person I'd like to follow. Hope this doesn't sound tooo creepy hahha

Yeah I just started using Instagram a few months ago, not creepy at all haha. My username is gruneilius

Well I scored a real 351w gt40 intake today on Craigslist. It's already been ported a bit and it was cheap! Definitely got lucky for once.

I have a 3 day weekend this weekend so I am planning on working on the engine again. I lost a lot of motivation the past few weeks so a break has been good.

Such a good looking truck! I love your generation trucks. Keep up the good work, cant wait to see it breathing fire! :icon_thumby:

Patience! Thats you friend when you put this motor in! Haha its 2 3/8" wider and taller than a 302 so its very tight! But I did it WITH AC AND HEATER! Ill be following your build, would like to see someone elses ideas on it,might even change mine up a bit

Sweet

Nice truck man I've got the 351w lightning motor in mine the swap isn't bad I just have to figure out in wiring it. Not to hard to fit I have zf5 behind mine with a np205:headbang:

Nice man! How far back did you put it? What did you use for motor mounts and headers?

Time for an update finally. Recently I got a new dog, and I just moved into a new house, so I have a garage again finally. Tomorrow I am going to building a workbench and putting the compressor in the corner. But I am planning to tear the 4.0, tranny, and doubler out next weekend.

Should be fun when you get the V8 in there. If you bought your new garage paint the walls white. It will make it seem so much brighter in there.
