My Son-in-Law needs help!

I know this sounds cruel but have him get a divorce from his wife. She gets the house and all the belongings and he ends up destitute. He can claim he has to live in your basement and I think you can claim him on your taxes. You have to play the system. That's what everybody else does.

I know of somebody that needed a kidney transplant. He divorced his wife. She has all the property and he went bankrupt. At least they divorced on good terms. She let him live with her and the children.

Thanks for the prayers and advice.....it's a shame that a person either has to get divorced or be an Illegal Mexican to get healthcare....

He nearly lost the house a few months ago because the health insureance and medicine are nearly $2,000 a month.

You know it's bad when your co-pays add up to be more than your truck payments every month!!!

He wants to go down to Biloxi for CRUISIN THE COAST.......BUT MY OTHER DAUGHTER IS IN THE HOSPITAL READY TO POP OUT ANOTHER FUTHER RANGER DRIVER!!!!!

Do they make the Ranger model in Power Wheels? You gotta start early!

No divorce for medical benefits.....they keep a close watch on white folks down here to make sure that they are actually divorced/prision if lying about it!

Son-in-law had to get a pint od platelets last week --- he was turning yellow...

Since he is now still yellow, but not as bad---they did another bodyn scan to see what's causing the problem....he might get the results today....

If the blood vessels going to his liver are being chked off by the cancer tumors---they're going to put stints in all the blocked vessels to get his liver functioning again....

It's majorsurgery because of his weak immune system....the doc will let him know how SOON the surgery will be!

KEEP HIM IN YOUR THOUGHTS............THANKS, DOORGUNNER (Some battles can't be fought with AR's)

Sounds like he needs some AA's instead...Assault Angels!

I'm sending a bunch his way...they are small and pink but they will work wonders...

:icon_rofl:

Thanks......He need them......& I needed that!

Randomly found your thread, my thoughts go out to you & your boy.

Make sure the docs give him antibiotics after surgery-you really don't want an infection on top of everything else.

Thanks....17 months ago he had his first stomach surgery....it got infected 4 days later.....

within the next 24 hiurs the incision looked like a raw steak for 2 months....it too 4 months to finally heal.

He's waiting on test results now to find out why he has the yellow eyes and skin (they treated him with antibiotics/blood platelets...but he's still nauseated and slightly yellow-colored.

Babies get the yellow when they get jaundiced. or dehydrated? Ill say a prayer for him. good to see you still kickin DG how ya been?

feeln......wHAT'S HAPPENING..........I herd that you joined the C*A (I typed it in code so nobody could figure it out)

Things have been going in 6 different directions around here.....I passed myself up twice yesterday......

Son in law was both/jaundice&dehydrated......he got better after the blood transfusions 2 weeks ago ....BUT....he's yellow again and they want him to go into the hospital....

BUT......he said NO WAY....he's hardheaded like you.......so they're sending a nurse to his house every 3rd day to give him medicine & fluid thru his veins....

He's TOUGH!!!!!!

In the meantime I'm keeping up with the TRS BANNER waiting for it to get to the S.E. U.SofA.

UPDATE:

Son in law tried tinkering with his car but got too weak....he's back in the hospital getting more blood, fluid. antibiotics, and anything else they can think of.

He's hurting bad and can't have any more chemo because he's too weak.

The yellow color won't go away no matter what the doctors do.

They upped his pain meds to what 7 men would be taking (which normally they would NEVER do, but he can handle the meds.

The next 7 days are very important they said!

Don't let him be hardheaded. If he needs to go to the hospital, send him there. If he needs rest, buy him a damn xbox and a nice TV.

If it seems bad, a hospital bill and "nah you're OK take 2 asprin" is ALWAYS the preferred route.

His updates sound very similar to my Brother in law who passed away 3 years ago. He wouldn't listen to the doctors, would still go out and change his oil at 15*, etc. etc. He would just tough-man it out, and unfortunately you can't just tough it out when it comes to big issues. I'm oversimplifying, but you get the drift.
