ok solved it

turns out that the airtex fuel pump that was put in at the dealer went bad in less then 3 months. so i replaced it with a carter and it runs without a problem.. funny thing was every time i checked fuel pressure it was good at 30psi. just happened to go bad all the way

Are you sure you're not burning out pumps?

That's great. But I kinda agree with ranger guy. To be safe just have it in the back of your mind that there still may be an issue you haven't seen yet. But for now congrats on finding the issue. And happy driving.

always in the back of my mind. the fuel pump that the airtex replaced was the original pump or at least it was stamped ford LOL.


also i have never had good luck with airtex pumps
