Banner update!
I drove down to Longview this morning and took posession of the Banner, not a handoff as such, because the Danielvincent was working in Vancouver and had sent it up to a closer store.
Now working on a plan to move it along, have to get in contact with some people.
Took a couple pics, having difficulty getting them down to an acceptable size because (ahem) didnt set the resolution on the camera low enough. By the time I crop them down to fit 800 x 800 as a jpeg they dont show anything, so I need to reset the camera and take some more for posting.

Good going for stepping in! As far as the pictures/camera, I don't mess with the resolution on the camera but use MicroSoft Office Picture Manager to crop and condenence/resize the pictures without loosing clarity.

You guys are too kind!
Thisfords4u is on board to meet me in Roseburg, Ore on the 12th! So, between Spanaway Wa and Roseburg Ore is about 325 miles. I have been in touch with a few members who want to add their sigs to the Banner along the way, and there is time for more if anyone else wants to meet along I-5 on the 12th.
If I recall correctly from way back in the thread, the Alaska crew dipped the Banner in the Pacific, right? If not I need to make a speed run to the ocean before it heads south...

Jim O........Great story/History of the 2nd Banner.....maybe somehow-someway we could let it zigzag thru the States so that eastern Canada members can all sign it....then zigzag down the eastern States to Florida...

Met with BronKitis today for a signing, and he brought his project Bronco2 along!
Also, Banner at War Memorial, on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge ( The original "Galloping Gertie" fell into the Narrows in the 40's in a windstorm as a tribute to great engineering ), memorial to Pierce County Medal of Honor recipients (anyone recognize a more famous name on there? ), different view of the Narrows bridges, and the place I work at just for the hell of it
