That is my fav-0-rite aircraft since I was a little kid..........

of course the F4's & Cobra Gunships that bailed my behind out many times in Viet Nam come in a verrrrrry close-tied for 3rd place.........

Thisfords4u is on board to meet me in Roseburg, Ore on the 12th! So, between Spanaway Wa and Roseburg Ore is about 325 miles. I have been in touch with a few members who want to add their sigs to the Banner along the way, and there is time for more if anyone else wants to meet along I-5 on the 12th.
If I recall correctly from way back in the thread, the Alaska crew dipped the Banner in the Pacific, right? If not I need to make a speed run to the ocean before it heads south...

Is the 12th still a good day for the Banner???????

No, we are delayed a week so will be Saturday 19th now, not the 12th to head South. At the Roseburg end Thisfords4u got hit by the Ranger repair demons and cannot make it this weekend.
On the plus side we will pick up anothe sig along the way because that member couldnt make the 12th either, but will meet on the 19th.
Meanwhile got PMs out to try for a sig or two this weekend and do some under hood stuff myself

Keep an eye on the Banner thread, cause this thing seems to like to change plans a lot due to circumstances. For a simple Banner it sure has a lot of moving parts lol.
Ive been looking at it this way-the dedicated boys up North made it happen with an airplane for crying out loud, so we can surely move it with our trucks!
Roseburg on the 19th, then beyond it will be in Thisfords4u hands and his plans / arrangements.
Be prepared to drive some to meet up with it, use PMs to stay in touch, and try to make your siggy get on there!
Get to meet some members and be part of a pretty cool deal so its worth the effort!

So i take it this is going to be ANOTHER banner that wont touch Ontario, the chicago, detrit, buffalo new york or east coast area?

Thats disappointing as we have the Ontario Ranger Club, with 225 members, over half of which are on TRS.

I would be happy to meet up in the chicago area to grab it, drive it north to get it signed by the largest ranger club in north america, and then drive it south to PA or upstate NY, i know we have a couple really good members in that area.

just to bump this, taking my trip towards the end of january to humboldt. if an oregon member would like to drive it down and meet me in trinidad or something ill bring it down through northern california.
