Bundy Hill St. Patty's Day Run

You ever get the door fixed?

Sent from my HTC VLE_U using Tapatalk 2

No I haven't touched the body at all, Hopefully over the holidays I can work on it. I was going to get some from a guy off GL4x4 but every time I talked to him and brought up picking them up I never heard anything back. Idk what his deal is. They were tan too.

You get it, I will pull it :icon_thumby:

The one i can get is a 25 foot goose

I really need to get my rig roadable!

You have a CDL to pull that?

I'm in, unless my truck decides to crap out. I'll be sticking to the easy trails as my uncle will get mad if I break something major...( he helped me put in my new trans.)

I live about 40min south of the park and have been going since the first day they opened ,and Im good friends with the owners {went to skool together}.

I know the park like my own backyard and can tell you there is alot of hard stuff to try if you know where to look. I have basicly destroyed my B2 at that park. Just depends how hard you wanna push your truck. You can also have a full day of fun on the easier stuff if your not lookin to bang up your truck. If your coming from far away and dont know the park you really need to hook up with somebody who knows so they can show you the fun stuff.

The owners did infact raise the gate price to 20.00 for next year {drivers only} and they are planning to build alot more obsticals for the better built vehicles. The ones they have already built are pretty cool so Im sure they will come up with some real good ones for next year.

Now the cool thing about going opening day next year is that since the park is only open maybe one weekend a month throughout the winter most of the trails and hills will look like virgins again. They mine the quarry all week so the park will change ALOT between what you may have seen this fall to next spring.

Well if I go I'm down for anything. Body damage... well the bronco already looks like a ruffled potato chip lol. I don't have 44s beadlocks, doubler and all those other goodies because I like easy trails.

Well the B2 is dead and gone now and my new truck is way to nice to smash up this early so Im sure I will use a little better judgement with this truck...................for now.:icon_thumby:

I'm definitely in. Truck did great on the last trip and the christmas bonus let me order the last few parts I really need.

Sweet. Just don't destroy it in the next 3 months.

Haha, that's why I'm looking for winter tires. Those lockers plus 35" mudders with no weight in the back make my truck exciting on the ice.

Only times I've ever broke the back end free shifting into 4th was intentional in my '67 mustang. A little bit of ice and the ranger does it just fine.

:icon_surprised:

Nope :dunno:. Dont think I need one. Its not heavy. Its only 2 Rangers. No one has ever given me a problem.

It doesn't go by what it all weighs.

It goes by gross vehicle weight rating.

Your truck and trailer will list a GVWR. If you have a F350 with a GVWR of 10,000 and a goose neck with a 17,000 GVWR, it will give you a combined GVWR of 27,000 and will require a Class A CDL. Any combination over 26,001 will require a CDL.

Maybe he hasn't been bothered because they're too lazy to check? Are 16,000 vs. 17,000 Trailers that different looking?

i just finished my truck a month ago. so i can finally come out to a trail ride! i will be leaving from columbus. its only 3 hours and 20 mins from my house. i can start an ohio convoy since i think i am the furthest south so far and i can probably get at least one of my buddies to come with and we can meet the rest of you some where in ohio to drive up the rest of the way. i will be taking 23 north to 75. maybe we can meet some where off 75 by toledo.

I'd be down for meeting in Toledo since I'm in Toledo and plan on going lol. There is a Wal-mart right off 23 that we could all meet at.

You are correct. I know anything over a certain OAL requires a CDL as well. I have seen guys with trailers hooked to campers hooked to trucks lol.
My farm buddies definitely push those GVWR limits lol. One was stopped and weighed. 32k lbs. The cops were not happy lol.
The trailer i use is rated for 14k. Not sure what my truck is plated for. Cops probably dont bother me since I do not have commercial plates. If they put me on the scales, I know I will be under 26k.

If I get pulled over, I will learn i guess. I have always learned things the hard way :annoyed:
