Bundy Hill St. Patty's Day Run

My only concern is, how warm will it be in Michigan in March?

That's what your heater is for!

I'll be there depending on whether or not I get an 8.8 with a lockrightish locker in by then.

How much riding is there? Are the trails decent? How difficult? Is it worth me trailering 5hrs to go riding?

It is a good time. But I dont know about traveling 5 hrs good

Its been a good year since I have been there, but when I was there I saw lots of ATVs. Many stockish vehicles. There are some tight trails that are fun if you dont mind scratches. Lots of frame twister stuff. Not a lot of white knuckle stuff if you know what I mean. However, it is a great place to spend a day.
Also, when I went it was in a prototype AEV 6.4LHemi JK. Thats all I can tell you. Anyways, we were not allowed to scratch it so we had to stay away from the really tight stuff :(

When we went this year in March, it was warm enough for just t-shirts.

I live about 40min south of the park and have been going since the first day they opened ,and Im good friends with the owners {went to skool together}.

I know the park like my own backyard and can tell you there is alot of hard stuff to try if you know where to look. I have basicly destroyed my B2 at that park. Just depends how hard you wanna push your truck. You can also have a full day of fun on the easier stuff if your not lookin to bang up your truck. If your coming from far away and dont know the park you really need to hook up with somebody who knows so they can show you the fun stuff.

The owners did infact raise the gate price to 20.00 for next year {drivers only} and they are planning to build alot more obsticals for the better built vehicles. The ones they have already built are pretty cool so Im sure they will come up with some real good ones for next year.

Now the cool thing about going opening day next year is that since the park is only open maybe one weekend a month throughout the winter most of the trails and hills will look like virgins again. They mine the quarry all week so the park will change ALOT between what you may have seen this fall to next spring.

I agree. And the park is always changing especially after a few good rain falls. Last time there it rained all day and towards the end of the day, all the trails were very slippery...easy trails became a little challenging.

I've done a winter snowball run when it was ZERO outside. Getting traction is a challenge when the ground is completely frozen.

I'd love to get back in to trail rides, but it seems like over the last couple of years, everyone has had some reason for not showing up. Kind of lost my desire to go. Hopefully this will work out.

Jim, we try to make at least a few runs there each year, went 3 times this year and once last year. And each time there are more of us.

All right. This got me pumped. So I just have to look around for the good stuff. Are you going to make this event? I am not affraid of some body damage.
