I considered that but at 84" wide I did think I'm glad I didn't. I think the springs are 43" outside now.

Can start making mounts now. 2 engine 1 trans and 1 transfer case.

Mostly because the frame had to be about 12 inches longer to use them.

Used a stock trans mount but the rest will be fabricated. Will probably make a cross member under the oil pan to attach the motor mounts to.

Could you have mounted the sliders in the front?

probally could but people say front shackles are no.good. personally in my samurai ive never noticed a difference. same in my91 f350.

did you get the sliders as the weld together kit? im looking for a set to sas a yota soon but cant find the un welded kit

109" should still be able to turn in the woods pretty good.

I would hack some of the front frame off as well, would increase the approach angle tremendously

I will after the radiator and winch location are figured out.

I've got some ideas for the tube. Can't wait!

Got the engine mount cross member done. Probably not pulling the motor back out so I had to go ahead and put some paint on it.

Looks like the slave, driveshaft and exhaust are going to be close.
