Not bad for $50

I came across this truck 2 monthe ago. My buddy called me an said this kid just buried is truck an exploed the engine. The deal was get it outa the field it was in, and give him $50. The next day I went there the engine fired rite up (he got water in the intake an it shut off), an drove it home. It proly the best running 2.9 ive ever seen! So far ive given it a tune up and put over 2000 miles on it getting 20mpg and beating the hell outa it!

$50 for a running truck? I don't care if he loathed the 2.9, you can't pass that up. You did LOOK at the pics, right? That good of a condition, and you would pas it up? Get real.

$50 for any chunk of metal that weighs more than half a ton is a bargain. And for that truck, well 500 would have still been a steal.

The last owner thaught he blue the engine. And he lived in an apparment an couldnt keep it. Im not really fond of the 2.9 but for $50 buck i dont care if it has a Geo 3 cyl! Im proly just gona put a lift on it an sell it when I get bored with it, an get a gen 3 4.0 ranger.

don't go sayin u know all there is to know about things dude ur ranger prob only goes to 55k rpm cause it's a POS i have a 2.3 and it goes to 65k rpm or would u like to tell me it only goes to 3k rpm and another thing buy ur woman a razor for god sakes she's scareing the hell outa me i seen mountain beast that look better.....................................
