1993 Splash build

Be careful with mounting shocks upside down, it throws off the compression and rebound of the shock since the fluid is not in the correct location for valving...

Tech library says as long as they're not gas charged, I'd be fine. I'll look into it a little more though. Thanks for the heads up.

Im gonna have to mount my front ones upside down due to the valve body of the shock hitting my long arms. Its quite weird and the superlift guys had no idea why it happens... my luck! Kinda looks like | |\\

Finished up running my brake lines tonight. Got the driveshaft installed and finished up aligning it.

Crossmember. Everything is 0.25". I reinforced the area where it's cut out for clearance.

Had to install flares on the rear to please the law. Funds are running low so I just used the extra set of front flares for the time being.

Because I dont. I have 5" showing. I bump-stopped it @ 4" uptravel. The rest is all for down travel.

Very nice. I guess it didn't look 5" from the picture. Have you tested the flex out yet? At least with a floor jack?

Yup. Everything's coming together. FINALLY. I cant wait to drive my baby again. It's sad. If I were doing an SAS, I would have been done weeks ago...

Ya. Ttb is a whole other animal. Ive been wanting to drive mine for months. And I've been on the road for work for 5 weeks with no foreseeable end... I send this from the hotel bar in Detroit. At least I'm making extra money... But not much more than that.

I have been thinking about this for awhile now because im use to trucks over 9" of lift... hah 9" on a ranger is like a baby truck... then again im running 32s..

Stonecrusher steering is finished for the most part. Have to get a new 5/8" reamer for the heim joint and tighten everything.

Looks Beefy!! Taken it for a test drive yet?

I'm gonna have to come out and see this thing soon.

Does the drivers side link clear the pass side link, pitman arm and TRE at full bump?
I am not very familiar with the stone crusher steering setup but..........it looks like it would cause excessive bump steer as the suspension cycles, as either side compresses or extends it would create a tension force pulling along the length of the steering links as they struggle to maintain equilibruim which would cause excessive wear on TREs, heims and tires?

It's a very decieving setup. At full bump there's still clearance, but not much. I was very skeptical when I first started researching it as well.

I'll run this setup and see how I like it. If I dont, I'll either fab my own superrunner steering or figure something else out.
