Well, coil buckets are out and cut up ready to be welded back up. What a PITA to get those rivets out...

And no SVT, no photos tonight.!!!

what is all that shit? what's your steering setup gonna look like? whats are the rod end(s) for? are those greasable sway bar mounts? yes, rivets suck

That will be my stonecrusher steering setup, grasshoppah. Im using 3/4 ton GM high angle t.r.e.'s for the knuckle/pitman arm and a heim for the pivot link in the center.

And yes, those are greasable sway bar bushings.

Sounds good, yes. Looks good...:dunno:

Alright smarty-pants. I'll have photos of my progress Saturday evening.

Well here's my problem. The EB coil diameter is too large. There's not enough clearance on the beam to center the coil over the stud.

I have two options:

1.) Cut & clearance beam and reweld
2.) Make a spacer plate (1" tall) to get the desired clearance

Option 1 would be the the most Ideal bc I dont want to go any taller than I have to. Im just kind of on the edge of cutting up my beams and replating them with 1/4"

Option 2 is easier but like stated above, I dont want or need the extra lift I'd gain.

Need some help here guys. What should I do?

Oh and here's my conversion Idea for the EB lower coil mounting

Actual EB lower buckets are notched to clear the knuckle/balljoint ears.

That's why then. I have 78/79 F150 lower buckets with EB coil retainers. Looks like I'll have to order some proper seats.

Either way tho, I'll have to do something because the coil's still too big in Diameter.
