1993 Splash build

you dont have a 4WP near you? you can get the smitty XRC's for about the same price as a RC and if you pick it up in the store, you dont have to pay for shipping, just tax

gotcha, just read your post again lol....i was thinking of the XRC8

I'd rather have a synthetic rope winch. Saves on weight and it doesnt slice your hand open or kill you if it breaks.

one my main goals while out wheeling or working on my truck is not dying.....i'd want a synthetic line as well if i could swing it

That's how i feel. I thought it was a joke at first then saw what it can do.

Dugan, hate to tell you, but badland winches are actually pretty good. They went head to head with warn winch in a comparison test, including the parts they are built with, badland winches actually beat the warn. I couldn't believe it either til I saw the showdown...

Yeah, and Walmart carries Sony amps, does the fact that Walmart carries it not make it a Sony? John (railman) has a 10k winch that he got from sams club. It's a champion, and that thing works flawlessly, time and time again. I plan to get one. If you can get a good working piece of equipment with a warranty and have it both last and be reliable and save some coin while doing it, why not?

other then my sony amp sucked. I had a champion 8k that was nice. Yea I guess so but im use to HF having cheap built cheap priced stuff

Well all my steering parts came in from RuffStuff today. Very high quality parts that were packed beautifully. Also got my greasable sway bar frame bushings (19.00 shipped) and all my brake lines ready to run. I should have the front together by Sunday :D
