My Bronco 2

Found another b2 in my area today. All stock suspension with body lift. Roof rack and light bar. Looked to be homemade bumpers. Nice warn upright winch on the front.

i think that's tyler's bronco

:icon_rofl:

Those are def 2 nice Broncos. I have not seen a full shot of the paint on yours. That is sharp!

Thanks. "tyler's" was nice to. Looked like paint was no more than a couple years old. Had a steering stabilizer on stock steering. Mostly stock. Auto hubs. Electric t case. Basic 2nd gen b2. I was just glad to see another one local getting loved.

actually now that I think about it.... I should find that guy and try to sell him my RC lift when I get it off. lol

:icon_thumby: I'm gonna see if I can find him again... there is also one really nice explorer in my area I wanna find and meet the owner. its a first gen 4 door with james duff lift and cut fenders with 35's on black steelies. Very cleanly built rig.. just the right amount of lift and cuts to clear the 35's. looks like he might have replaced his coils with XJ coils and he has some homemade sway bar disco's. custom bumpers front and rear, smitty winch on the rear inside the bumper, warn m8000 up front. swing out tire carrier... yeah, I looked his rig over good one day at the mall.... Was hoping someone would walk out so I could talk to them.

anyways... back to my B2

I started installing the Aussie in my front carrier. come to find out the carrier needs a little butter on it to make it fit in the "window" so i'm waiting till tomorrow when i get my little grinder deal for my dremel tool back home from the shop.

also I started these today

these are my version of using materials I have laying around to save $50 or so. They are gonna be the bracket to hold my flex joint on my extended radius arms

I'm checking with A buddy at RC to see if I can get another bracket so I can sell the front lift complete. Also I'm trying to find out how much they might sell the rear blocks and ubolts for so I can pass that on to whoever buys my lift since I'll still be using the blocks (for now)

I wouldn't need the blocks. I've already done that with springs. I'm planning on going with a RC lift anyways. Just wouldn't mind saving a few bucks if possible.

If not, no worries.

We'll talk. Let me see what that bracket will cost me. I'm not gonna try to make a lot of money off the lift. Plan is for me to be able to sell a complete front lift

why are you selling your lift? are you getting a different one?

when I do the d35 front swap I'll be using:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
VMS Bracket (to replace drop plate and stock bracket)

XJ 6" lift coils

JKS jeep quick disco's with the sway bar mounted up where it is stock, using the disco's instead of a drop bracket since they are so long and adjustable.

custom extended RA's with homemade brackets

I already have all these parts except I have not extended my arms yet and I just started the link brackets.
and a couple other goodies... meaning, I won't need any of the RC lift parts except the one drop bracket (which I'm trying to get one from RC to replace it).

yeah i saw your brackets above, didnt know you were replacing the brackets...guess i missed it. those VMS ones are stout as hell.
