shackles and hangers all finished.
also finished cleaning up my leaf packs, and brought them into the spring shop to be re-arched...should have them later this week.

lol. Still have a lot to do....finish suspension/axles....tear out motor/drivetrain....install new motor/drivetrain....tube work and cage....then take it off of sweet jumps

Leaf pack is as follows....
Main - 64" chevy main
2 - chev second
3 - chev third
4 - chev fourth
5 - ranger main minus eyes
6 - ranger second
And as stated, all RE-arched to 15" (from a line drawn from eye to eye, perpendicular down to the leaf).

They charged me 190 to re-arch them...there is only one spring shop in town so I didnt have any other choice. Plus I paid 120$ for the leaves from the junkyard.
Its ok though, I dont mind paying to get exactly what I want.

Got the rear crossmember in place and welded up.
Also cycled the main leaf, suspension pulls about 16" of travel. Will mock up the rear axle in place tomorrow...

BIG update.....
Axle cleaned up....what a b!tch getting those off with just an angle grinder.
Mocked up at full droop
Once mocked up, set the stands under the axle, and loaded up approximate weight of the truck....hope to have the springs settle a bit and then move the hangers if need be.
Overall VERY happy with the springs. They pull just over 16" of travel, and are EXTREMELY flexy. For those observant people, you may see I took out one leaf....want to start with that and add the extra if I need it.
Oh, and rebuilt my lockouts....take note of the paint scheme, which will be the scheme for the whole truck....
