started my SAS

yea i did notice a extra bolt on the knuckle when i had the whole axle apart. It looked pretty rusty. Does it just thread in and you tack it where it bottoms out on the axle? Im wondering how to get it out with it tacked in.

It's threaded in to where it needs to be, then the locking nut is tacked to the bolt. It will unthread as one piece, but you'll need a new one so you can adjust the nut out longer....or if you can't find one, just add a washer or two underneath the nut.

well we finished reinforcing the trac-bar bracket, and i drove it on the road for the first time last night! It drives pretty good, tracs well (as well as tsls track), and everything seems to be working fine. I still gotta get the rear gears done, then before wheeling it i want to get different coil buckets and longer shocks. Im pretty pumped to be driving it again. It should be much better with the gears, right now it a dog with the 36s and 3.73s.

ill get some more pictures this weekend when i go home.

I have some custom upper coil buckets if your intereted.

got any pictures?

do you know if an EB coil will fit over that pipe. And what do you want for them?

Im not sure if the EB coil will fit, But ill be around CT this weekend. I could bring them buy and we could see if they fit on a EB coil. Idk what to ask for them. I had them made a while ago and since I bought my Coilovers I dont need them.

ill be up in stafford this weekend for the swap meet. I wont have a coil up there so we wont be able to see if it fits. I dont know if there will be any stock ones up there. I could always just cut the pipe until it fits. Whats the diameter of the pipe? I could try to see if it will fit by that. And whats the measurment in between the pipe to the back of the bucket, the space that the coil will have to go around the whole pipe. Im def interested. I think i can get new stock buckets for around 70. Did you just buy the steel and weld them yourself or did you have someone make them.
