Are you a TRACKER?


Pretty lousy update but i only have a bit of time to put into minor projects. Anyways had to carve the top and sides of the tie rod point off the knuckle to get the link to fit and wound up modding the slip on piece to. F-ed up the boots separating the tie rod ends but screw it they will live being greased to hell and back.

Happy with the fit up, sucks i had to drill out the bottom hole and expose metal after the powder coat but oh well its slathered in anti sieze.

Back when I had my scouts I thought about buying a beetle body and putting it on my parts scout frame, then doing a track conversion. Would have called it the snow beetle.

Tracks are looking pretty sweet, if I lived in a snowy climate I'd think about doing it myself.

Thanks it getting there, I have done a load of other stuff to it also like rebuilding the 6 speed tranny, clutch, full synthetic front to rear ect.

Yea pile got hauled up 400 hundred miles and ran the 42 miles in and out 6 times so far so, tell me your falkin man stories.
