Anybody have experience with a Savage Model 10 with a heavy barrel? I am looking into picking up a bolt action in .308 and I really like what I have read about the savage precision carbines.

crawlin i have a model 11 300 wsm and my cousin has a model 10 300wm with a coustom barreland he likes it when he first got it as a package deal he took it right out of the box and it was 2 in high and 3 in to the right so i would have say that the model 10 is a pretty decent gun for the price. all i have to say is take and get rid of the simmons scope, as mine and his i relief part just straight up fell out when we were out hunting
