The gun thread...

so when you sending me that AR jester? lol

crawlin i have a model 11 300 wsm and my cousin has a model 10 300wm with a coustom barreland he likes it when he first got it as a package deal he took it right out of the box and it was 2 in high and 3 in to the right so i would have say that the model 10 is a pretty decent gun for the price. all i have to say is take and get rid of the simmons scope, as mine and his i relief part just straight up fell out when we were out hunting

I havent seen the model I am looking for as a package deal, but I plan to buy optics seperately anyway. Thanks for the reply.
Sure do. They are phenomenal guns.

Awesome, can't wait to own one. Seems like they have a slight edge over the Remy 700's (also not a bad choice) right out of the box.

Jester, is the dbm conversion on the savage working well?
And for the hell of it, what kind of groups can you get?

Here is my 1964 Remington 700 chambered in .300 Win Mag. I don't have any pics of my other ones handy but I also have a Baikal O/U 20 gauge, Winchester Model 94 in .22, and an H&R Pardner Pump 12 gauge.

As soon as you send me 2k and your FFL's address.:thefinger: Seriously though, hit me up when you're ready to start building your's, I'll hook you up with some parts.

Remington has really gone downhill in the past couple of years. The 700 is still a good gun.....after you do a trigger job, and true the action. Out of the box, yes, Savage has newer Remy 700s beat.

If you want a DBM just get it from Savage, it's cheaper. Savage didn't offer and DBM 10 series when I bought mine, that's the only reason I went with the CDI kit.

The DBM works great. It inletted kinda' funky though, the back end had to be deeper in the stock, but it was one of CDI's early kits. I did the DBM kit after I built the stock, otherwise I would have molded the stock better around the bottom metal.....still might try and blend it some, it's just fiberglass......Or build a new stock.:icon_twisted:

Just a cunts hair over 1" at 300 yards, so .33 M.O.A. If I do my part.

Dunno about that, but I don't see myself owning a Remington after they bought Marlin and threw them in the gutter.

I've got a EAA Witness Elite Match in 10mm (also have a .40 barrel for it), awesome gun.

Better than I can.

I'd recommend an 18lb recoil spring, the stocker is a little soft. I run a 22lb in mine but I'm shooting some nuclear 10mm, the 22lb spring runs great with .40 too but it's a little on the heavy side if it was a dedicated .40 gun.
