You have balls of steel to admit your serious mistake on the internet. You know how people like to have an excuse to rip on someone.
I believe you when you say you have learned from it and are counting your blessings.
I've lost friends to drunks and idiots who know nothing of gun safety, too, but at least I know it doesn't give me the right to judge anyone or call them names on the internet.
There are a lot of hypocrites in this thread who are much too cowardly to ever admit anything they ever did wrong that may have endangered themselves or others. You can probably just ignore them.
Go do the right thing and do some community service.
Could Everybody Stop Being So Hard On The Poor Feller?
He's Knows What He done Wrong, Hes Not Drinkin No More, Hes Admitted Wat He Done Was Totally Wrong, That Takes Balls That Most of Us Dont Have,He Got His Truck Wrote Off, Not Getting Another One For A Spill, Went Thru The Time To Show Us Exactly How And Where He Went Off The Road (On Google Earth Or Watever), Parents Wont Speak To Him, Thats bad When Your Own Parents Dont Speak To You, (Trust me), He Was Threatened And Called Names A Few Times Too Many. Just Lay Off A Bit.
Seriously, Most Of The People Who Replied Are Childish, Imature Jerks Who Dont Know When To Stop.
You Guys Who Are Calling Him Names And Threatening Him, Seriously STOP, Your Going To Far With It

What?
who posted what here?
thats what i was thinking! i have read the whole thread, i think hes learned, but still needs to hear what a stupid mistake it was!
i for one, am pissed that because you knew someone that you got off. that is what is wrong with the way things are. its not what you know, its who you know. you should honestly feel complied to do something good for the community after what you have done. i have never driven drunk, nor would i ever. one of my first memories of my dad was my sister yelling at him for trying to drive drunk with me in the car, i was too young to understand it then, but it is something that sticks with you.
please dont pitty him. yes he made a mistake, yes i think he learned, it still doesnt make an apolgy equal to a dead friend or family member. the only childish thing was driving drunk. someone that does something wrong doesnt need to be coddled. i think he posted this because he feels guilty, maybe wrong but, he needed to have his a$$ chewed a little, its better than being dead! most of the people posting have had an experience with a drunk driver, and there is no good experience with a drunk driver. i dont think that you need to call someone that lost their best friend to a drunk driver a jerk for yelling at him. it is an obligation to prevent what happened to their friends!+ driving =
