So I went and looked at it again today. I had a more in depth discussion with the owner. (I'm Ryann's dad) It might be the heads after all. The lady was driving and the bottom hose popped off the radiator causing it to over heat. They had it towed home and it's been sitting since March of this year. They told me a neighbor took off the intake manifold and told them that it was the heads. I don't see any wrench marks on anything. No smudged oil on the bolts. So I don't know if he took anything off or not? I don't see any water condensation in the engine when I open up the oil fill port. I can't see any mixing of fluids in the oil. The radiator is low. I believe it has 134,000 miles on it. It has the original interior, to tears on the seats and the carpet isn't very warn. The top of the dash has been covered with a dash mat and there's no cracking. It has minor shrinkage cracks on the face of the dash. It has an automatic transmission and the fluid is bright pink. The paint is starting to fade and has some minor areas on the roof where the paint is gone and small rust spots are starting. There is a minor dent/crease on the rear end where the bumper was pushed into the back of the truck. It's pretty much hidden by the bumper. I tried to jump it but it would just make the solenoid click. It has an alarm system in it and a Kenwood deck/cd player. It's been driven by old ladies it's entire life. Has street slick tires on it. I was told it ran in perfect condition until this happened in March. It was towed to where it sits now. The hubs were still locked in when I looked at it today. It has sensors in the center console that show different stuff I thought it even showed if the window washer fluid is low. Can't remember off hand which items it showed there. It has the rear opening window, not sure if that came in all of them?
Do you guys think 500$ is a fair price?
