Copperhead, you say beating and stabbing clowns is funny? How about when the clown ends up sad and crying in an iron lung?

Then it's hilarious! :icon_thumby:

.....really, you brought out the rockos modern life..... how did you even remember that?

Ah crap! You've climbed back into the cave again. How many months do we have to wait for progress on the ranger?

i was actually working on the ranger yesterday.i went fishing today but will be doing more on it tomorrow.

Regarding cooling, the motor will never be doing any real work, so that should be considered. Do you have any idea what size the jag rad is? I'm thinking the same as you though, If you look at the big trucks they have the rad, the a/c rad, the intercooler and various oil coolers all stacked inline and the airflow is not a problem, bigger rad is never a problem.
makes perfect sense to me.oh,and the jag rad is about three times the size of my available space.

Would changing the fin count do anything for airflow vs heatloss?

Richard
i'm kinda restricted to what's available as standard cores.still,my bigger concern is total area.

Gwaii could you just extend the lever off the transmission and add a bend in it to bring it to the driver's side? Put the gate around it and weld a nice looking stick on it. That way you have no chance of any slop in the system. Just a thought.

by the time the lever was extended far enough up it would need a foot and a half of swing.wouldn't be cool.

Too bad the lever isn't on the driver's side or it could be really slick

how about a rear radiator?

There's not much rear in the car in the first place and what there is is taken up by diff, suspension and fuel tank.

Stick it behind the seats, then you could put a sun roof in it and when she starts to run hot you just open it up

I like the 2 core, 4" deep custom built design to your width, height, and depth.

The Veyrons have 4 radiators, in 4 different areas of the engine bay. I think splitting up the cooling this much, in a limited space, is unpractical, but it's just another idea. I don't think gwaii has any room in the rear for a remotely built cooling system.

Fine new idea hook the radiator up to your computer and put it in a nice cool spot so it can wireless(Hose-lessly?) cool the motors, shouldnt take you to long to work this system out :icon_twisted:

Is it peltier [computer] coolers that change heat into electricity?

Richard

Yes, but it is way more complicated than taking a couple metals and run current through them

hey Gwaii, how do i fix this?

He'll tell you steps on how to construct a whole new light using duck feathers, fiberglass, and a single rubberband! Ha.

I'd just buy a new one :-P

i've looked at this option too.i have room for two small radiators laid flat between the top of the front tires and the firewall on each side.still not sure how practical that would be.

while i've looked for room in the back,i just haven't seen anything that would be practical.
