I always seem to have something odd, that isn't really. Like the Shelby Charger that I finally sold after 6yrs. Yesterday I ran across this.
2000 ZX2 S/R Only 2110 made.
Factory Installed Performance Parts...
Iceman intake
Leather shift boot
B&M Short throw shifter
Centerforce Performance Clutch
Visteon PCM
Tokico Struts
Energy Suspension Bushings
Eibach Lowering Spring
Borla exhaust
S/R wheels: 205/55ZR15 Goodyear Eagle
Rear disc brakes
Silver gauge surround
240 KPH (150MPH) speedometer
Ford Blue valve cover

Traded the wife's old Windstar for it.

Go to the tailgate forum for that! :D

We don't understand the hate for the Windstar. We just turned over 187,000 and did not have any problems. Just Mama got the Explorer she wanted and our daughter didn't want to drive it, so try to sell/trade it.

Nice, I've only ever seen one. I got a zx2 that I've done some work too...but now sits neglected waiting for some TLC. :sad: Fun little car and great mpg

I wish mine was an S/R, I'd probably still have it!

And I wouldn't exactly call a leather shift boot a performance accessory.

And I think there was 2000 sold for 2000, but only 1000 of them were yellow if it makes you feel better lol.

The shift boot was listed on the list I copied & pasted.

1999 = 110 (all Yellow)
2000 = 1000 yellow, 500 blue, 500 red

I need to fix the e-brake, bleed the brakes, get 1 new rim and find the noise that sounds like a wheel bearing.

And check to make sure all those sweet S/R parts are actually there, I've heard of many S/R's that don't have all the pieces because they were installed at the dealerships.

The S/R didn't come in blue. And yours is a 2000, which is why I said there was only 2000 made for 2000.

And zx2 wheel bearings are notorious for going bad. Check your timing belt too! You don't want that sucker to go, mine went at 90k. It's a pain to fix, no space to work in those cars.
