94 b4000 axle swap/offroad build

i like it being out of the way exspecially since i dont ever use it. it wont lift a tire off the ground but it's still to usefull to leave at home.

you should keep a choker chain in the truck that way you can stop the suspension from drooping out. its the only way i can change a tire on mine with a hi lift

i do keep one. but 99% of the time it's much easier and safer to just grab the bottle jack outta my tool box and use that. jsut as usefull as the highlift on the trail as well. More ppl ask to grab the bottle jack then the highlift when doing trail repair's that's for sure.

havent done a whole lot with the truck in the past couple week's. however last weekend i built a RTI ramp in the garage out of some scrap steel. its a 120'' long ramp and is at 30 degrees. it's definately HEAVY as all the channel iron is 3/8 and the tube is 2'' by 1/2'' wall . put the truck on it and scored a 747 sitting in trail trim except runnin street pressure in all 4 tires.
other than that havent done a damn thing cept take it on the tails around the house a handfull of time's. its definatelly getting colder at night and am definately looking forward to some snow wheelin.

oh and I no longer have a full size spare as my extra set of tires got donated to the B-in laws B2

its photoshopped, don't let him fool you! lol

if I knew how to use photoshop dont you think i woulda made it a little more crazy with it?

thatd be too obvious.. you wanted to try and sneak it through :icon_rofl:

dang... busted me
truth be told a stock xj made it higher than me

well, most people actually reading this will allready know this from FB but look's like i've got the sickness too. hopefully saturday i will have a 1st gen 4 door explorer in my driveway and will start swaping everything over. sending the wife, brother and a good buddie to look at it /pickit up. i am babysitting this damn pager so i cant go decide myslef so hopefully all goes well.

Plan is if everything works out i'm gonna strip the running gear outta my truck and slap all the drivetrain from the explorer under the pickup along with the 6'' lift that's floating around here somwhere. then to wheel my truck until the splode is done. dont plan on wheeling the splode until everything is 100% but we will see how long the 35 will hold up to big tire's i'm not sure if i'm gonna try and find smaller tires or just cut the fenders and work on destroyingthe 35 runnin my 37's i mean whatthe heck its gonna be primarly snow wheeling with next to no traction.

but first off i need to get the explorer

run the tires on the d35, put the d35 to a test!!!! i wanna see the results!

so yer sayin you wanna see ANOTHER 35 shreded? i bet i'll be able to smoke hubs off like nobody's buisness

or you could donate the hubs to me.. if they are manual's, for a backup set.. lol

You have to be smarter then the hubs....somehow weld them up so that they arent the weak link anymore...

Im lost as to what is going on what vehicle.
