Josh40601's Build Thread. (D-ranged)

I DD'd mine with a rear detroit for 3 years, and in winter. Sneak into your wifes purse late at night and get your teste's back! Don't ruin a good wheeler, lol.

amen! :yahoo:

you can't neuter the ranger man... you can't! stripping it of its doubler and stuff now, after getting it used to it might as well be castration

i was going to take out the doubler anyway for the LS swap....

and im not married

Just buggin ya. I figured the LS swap would be a ways off, so ya might as well leave it in until then... and theres no good reason not to have lockers! lol.

The doubler and everything will be staying in until i do the LS swap, but that is coming up as soon as i get back (and get a job).

So it isn't like the truck is going to be lame, it will still be a bad sum bitch, just in a different way :D

whats different about a detroit being on the street? i didnt even notice mine in the ranger.

that is until it rained or snowed then i was glad it was back there.

and you're using the 4l60e right? is it gonna be stock? or just mildly built?

billet servos, shift kit, aftermarket bands, good trans cooler. stuff like that?

you were glad it was back there on the snow and in the rain? I hate mine when it rains. That is why i want to pull it. I can only imagine how "fun" it will be in the snow

probably just stock with a big ass cooler. I would like to find a 4L80E, but a 60E will do. That's what is in the 68.

i like having the rear locked in any condition. its always predictable, i know where its going and how fast its going in any situation.

i'll leave them in for now. If i don't like how it drives on the road with snow and ice and rain, then i will go back to open or limited slip.

I think that is the smartest thing to do as they are already in there, and i don't have any open carriers lying around

Well now I'm really confused, I thought "Mall Rated" meant a 4x4 that was only used on road and in the parking lots to pick up women !?!?!?

Robert

oh. Well, in that case, yes it will be a mall crawler.

I thought Mall Crawlers were 4 door SUVs that are turned into wheelers, like the Exploders and XJs and stuff.

Mall Crawlers are lifted vehicles ( trucks, SUV's, especially Jeeps ) that never see dirt...other than accidently running over the edge of their drive-way:icon_rofl::icon_rofl::icon_rofl:
