If you can make your body survive, your mounts will be fine. Have you replaced them or are they the stock 94's? I had 183k on mine before I did the motor swap (new mounts with swap).

Meh, I've never pulled through a motor mount. I wheel a decent amount, and the shit I climb is hard to walk up. haha

The 3.0 didnt have enough torque to do it no matter what the gearing is. lol

My stock ones lasted maybe 2 months after I put the doubler in and you could see the motor move around. The rivets were all bent up and juuuuust about to pull through. That was also with a limiting chain on the motor. Imagine it without one.

Now I made me some motor mounts and trans mount out of some of those poly bushings so Im good to go now.

I'm going to do my best to keep the cab and fenders straight. I don't care about the bed. I'm going to replace it anyway.

More than likely, you'll be fine. You just need to remeber not to get retarded with the throttle in double low.

My stock mounts (at 218k) were shot so I tried bolting the mounts together. Stock Motor Mount Mod. That lasted until the first hard hill climb.

After that failed, I added new motor mounts and a chain (Link to Chain). I'm heading out this Saturday so I'll post a report on wether or not it is still happy.

In the end, if the mounts strech and allow things to move around some, you should stil be fine. With my setup, when the mounts got sloppy, the rear T case would rotate up and hit the bottom of the cab. Which if I left it like that, I've got a feeling the alu t-case would eventually lose out over the cab sheet metal

Its all good. I think Yukon's are decent, other than the shitty batch that went out which was the ones I got the first time. Either way, less breakage = more better. lol

Get the Ruff Stuff poly leaf spring bushing type mounts and never worry... Thats the style I'm running with the 6.0L, just enough cushion to keep the vibes down but overall very solid.

I have poly mounts on both new crossmembers, so the motor mounts are the only rubber ones left. If I rip these out Sunday, I'll order that Ruff Stuff 4.0 motor mount kit. hoping my speedo cable gets here soon. Although I did get a free Gerry can from a buddy on base, I just have to clean it up and shoot a coat of paint on it.

Be careful with poly mounts just on the t-case and not anywhere else. They will not flex much at all compared to the stock motor mounts. So the motor is going to want to be twisting up and the t-cases are not going to let it so its going to put a good bit of strain on the tail housing and bell housing on the trans. I would at the very least put a tight chain on the motor.

If you go with the ruff stuff mounts make sure they will fit your block before you buy them. They will not fit a early model 4.0 block. One side is different from later model blocks so one wont fit. Thats why I had to make a set for mine.
