RollinWOT's Ramming Bumper

I have nothing nice to say about all this, so I'll stay quiet :icon_twisted:

GROSS! Seems kinda like a copy of the classic Jeep surf board racks. But no, mine isn't going to be cumbersome and ugly. It's a tight fitting but heavy duty bumper. If I wanted to ram things for a living, I'd just get an M1A1.

So are there any tips or ideas from you guys that I should add before I weld it all together?

winch plate, light tabs, clevis mounts, receiver? who knows. make sure you at least have safe tow points..

We planned on integrating a reciever mount so I can have a slide-in winch plate. If my cousin can pull an F350 with a slide-in winch plate I can too. Light tabs! I almost forgot those too, thanks B2. And I just got a couple really good tow hooks that I painted black with Grade 5 bolts through them. What thickness of flat iron should I use for the tow hook tabs though? They have 5/8" gaps between each eye of the hook so maybe 1/2"?

Go with grade 8 bolts and hardware

Yeah I know that, but Grade 5 was just what I had lying around so I plan on skipping Grade 8 and going straight to Grade S hardware and bolts.

still really have no idea on what your going for. pictures would help

Ok sorry bout the slow response time, been dealing w/ family issues lately:annoyed: Anyway heres a pic of the one we made for my cousins Ranger. It has a reciever where he can slide in a winch. Mine will be almost an exact copy.
