your bronco is what you need .View attachment 97663

Won't take much.
I agree. I'm already collecting parts. My next major one is getting a really reliable engine. Be it a V8, another 2.8, I'm an opportunist.
I've slept in this thing every night since I owned it, and I've got a pretty good feel for what it needs to be as tough as it can get

$10k,

$450 Danner Hood Winter Light waterproof 200mg thinsulate 8" leather hunting boots (100% handmade in Portland Oregon)
$1,000 16" forged, lightweight AR-15, fixed sights, light, red dot, 6x magnifier and sling
$2,300 .223/5.56 bthp rounds
$700 9mm hp rounds
$200, fifteen 5gl jugs
$200 matches, lighters, can-openers, wet wipes
$2,500 canned food
$1,500 dried meat
$1,000 just add water meals

I'm not going to live forever, I don't believe that my ECM even wrapped 4x in Aluminum foil, will survive a decent EMI/EMP blast. That leaves defending the fort, hopefully from invading foreign forces, not my friends, family and neighbors.

Seems like the Washington state government wants to make it as easy as possible for a potential east coast enemy invasion (California, Oregon and Washington) with their current anti all semi auto weapon/disarm the law abiding citizens plan. Add an open southern border and we are nearly certain to experience the worst case scenario 😶

Don't you need something for all those 9mm rounds, as last I recall your pistol fell in the deep end of the lake.

I think you need to spend at least token about on really good 1st aid kit.

EMI/EMP isn't what worries me, but rather state sponsored attack on our electrical system. Couple weeks without power and a alot of things go to h3ll. Without power gas stations stop working/stores are closed, etc.

they dont need power for me to pump....

that is exactly my truck......wasnt kidding earlier...

i used to have runflat humvee wheels.....and likely will get them again.....it has a humvee engine....actually pieced together from 4 engines....cucv and hmmwv donors....only new headgaskets and bolts....few different injection pumps.....hacked together and modded injectors to run alt fuels....

dumb.....cheap......easy......reliable.

The bronco runs 15 inch stock f 150 wheels generally...those are 8 inch 4.5 bs aftermarket wagons those iroks are on...so they are wider.

The ranger runs 16 plus...it is on a 79 sno-fighter dana 60 with stock style calipers...so 15 inch don't fit.

plus I have hi-steer arms....so even stock Humvee wheels won't fit....need recentered or spacers..

my hummer tires are on 16.5 obviously....I had GM 17s and dodge 20s at various points in time.... currently looking at 18s so I can run a newer style military tire.

Yeah.... sometimes simple gets complicated...:D

Pardon my ignorance but they're both so 'modified' I can't tell which is which? Is the Bronco the brown or red?

I would say the bronco is the more jeep like one....but Jim will punch me in my filthy jeep mouth....so the bronco is the tan / brownish unit...:geek:

You can run out of gasoline, diesel, oil and even wood

But if you run out of Sun, Wind and/or Water locally your dead meat anyway
Go electric
