hey guys
i just picked up another ranger

its an 88,4x4 4 speed
standard cab longbed

with a 2.9, and it runs ok, but i just have a couple ?s

it doesnt have any pober lowend, and tends to buck a lil bit?, its getting a fuel filter and possibly the in tank pump

the temp and gas gaidge dont work at all, is there a fuse for just these 2 gaudges or seprate problems?

thanks for the help, pics to come when i have some light

Temp and fuel gauge problems are common on these trucks and are usually isolated issues. The temp gauge problem is usually corrosion on the sensor, just clean the contact and it will work. Fuel gauge problems are usually a float that has sunk. check the circuit first though before you go dropping the tank or lifting the bed.

maybe ill have to make my way out ur way and give u the low down on ur new ride
