Well, as you may know, I've been out of work since December last year...I've been applying for an IT position and have not received one reply even though I have sent about 40 resumes...
I have a Diploma in computer sciences (4 credits short of a degree) but I graduated in 1995 so my skills are a bit out of date...even though I worked in a related field for ten years...about two months ago I applied for funding for upgrading and today I just received word that I've been approved...

I'm no guru (which is U-RuG backwards) by any means but I can fix just about any personal computer (and some impersonal ones if they need it)...
Anyways, just thought I'd share some good news!
