im gearing up to drop 4.0 back in the 93, so i need to get some exhaust issues sorted out.

on the y pipe side, the end is flared out, and there *were* metal brackets on the cat side of the flange that had two holes for the bolts to go into the manifolds. one side got detroyed in the engine removal, the other side was rotted right one through on one hole, so its basically shot.

what are my options? its a fairly new exhaust, so id like to keep it intact if possible. is there an aftermarket 2 peice bracket that can be slid onto the pipe, or something fabbed up to clamp that flared joint seated to the manifold?

there appear to be two peice round clamps at the autoparts store for this purpose. i just need to measure the rough diameter to get the right sized set. it looked like it was standard round stock steel curved and then stamped at either end to form a flat spot for bolt holes....hope these work.

I've got a better method...

How'd you like another "unboggered" Y-pipe?
