im in the process of a 4.0 conversion on a 1990 ford ranger. The donor 4.0 is from a 98. i have a question as far as the O2 sensor goes: can i do either of the following:
-use the 98 y pipe thats on the block, plug up one of the O2 sensors, and buy a new O2 sensor for the other side for a 91 so that it will plug into my harness or....
-use the original 2.9 y pipe which im almost positive will bolt up but replace the 02 sensor with a 91 4.0 so that it will plug into the harness.
-or just raplace the entire y pipe and O2 sensor?
