Has anyone here used the aluminum replacement cable ends to re-install the cables to the rear door handles? I've ordered a set but there are no instructions nor can I find any online after 3 hours of trying. They say form follows function, but these defy that saying.

If you get the ends from Dorman you don't have to strip the insulation off of the cables. Also, the top latch end has a different fitting than the other three ends.

Here's a video.

I'm getting ready to try again to fix these. I have to ask, has anyone here actually used these ends and got them to work reliably?

Haven’t done it yet, but I’m going to have to do the one door on my green Ranger. I’m more worried about getting that truck back on the road than one door un-stuck at the moment though, lol.
