what the hell. the flares are like cutting a groove in the paint and is now starting to chip off. anyone else have this happen or are my flares to tight or something?

My factory ranger flairs did that and so did the bushwacker flairs on my 79 f250.

Thats why the bushwacker flares come with what looks like that stick on door gaurd strips to go on the edge of the plastic.
