Hello guys, well today my truck started stumbling real bad on idle.. I took a look at the spark plugs, which I replace maybe about 7 months ago, they are BAD! look at the pic! Oh yea and its consuming 1qt of oil in less than 500 miles!! Valve Stem Guides is the first thing that came to mind...what do yall think?, I just want to be sure of what the problem is.. 4 of them looked like these, the other 2 looked perfect. Sorry bout the pic quality, there from phone cam.

Nasty! I would say either valve guide seals or worn piston rings. You should do a compression test on all cylinders. If the bad plugs are all from one bank...maybe a blown head gasket. The build up is usually carbon or oil fouling.

those 3 are from passenger side and 1 from drivers side.. Replaced head gaskets already, I dont have water loss or overheating problems.

Do that compression check then. Do a dry test first then add a couple of tablespoons of oil to the cylinder to see if the readings improve. If your compression improves your rings are not sealing.

compression check and check the dipstick tube for excessive vacuum. your intake gaskets could be sucking oil

Did your valves look okay when you changed those head gaskets?

Dont know how they looked.. a mechanic did the job for me. He didnt say anything was wrong..

Ok, look at it a little better, On start up it gives a noticeable puff of bluish smoke, When reving it doent smoke but smokes when decelerating. As soon as I let off it puffs a noticeable amount too. Im leaning towards valve stem seals, hopefully.
