Wrangler Autiority AT Tires

no... neither. lol i'm talking general grabbers.
they are actually a really good street tire, EXCEPT the thread life and they are 10 ply. so heavy. i forgot you were looking at AT's and not MT's.. sorry lol. but these are the ones i'm referring to.

do NOT buy grabber at's or at 2's IMO.

for at's, you honestly can't beat bfg at's.

Im looking for a tire with more of a tire for mud too though and the at's just won cut it. I want an all terrain that wont get stuck in mud too easily, will have good tread life, an are priced reasonably. I just don't know what will fit the bill... Any ideas are much appreciated. :)

general grabbers (the red letters)
km2's
mtr's w/ kevlar

the later 2, actually have decent tread life. you get what you pay for.
the resonably priced is the hard part... b/c they ain't cheap.

a lot of people are running treadwrights now, retreads, yes.... but they have a good rep. i know several people running them on dailly drivers. i would have if i didn't get these dynapros so cheap.

look at them. look at the reviews. i can buy 2 sets of those for the price of 1 set of km2's

don't get bfg ko's if you want a mud tire. they turn into slicks the minute the fill with mud because they don't self clean well AT ALL

Goodyear Duratrac?

If money was no option they are what I would run on my dd.

^^^ I agree with this guy. my father runs them on his disco overlander and has never gotten stuck, even when pulling me out of the mud.

I've been running Goodyear Wrangler Territorys for about a year and a half with about 35000kms on them. I have no complaints with driving them on the road, they're quiet, handle well. They also work well in the mud too. Mine are a 31/10.5/15 and cost ~200 a tire.

Aren't those Canada only tires? I'm almost positive that those are the Canadian version of the Authorities or vice versa. I think im going to get the Authorities. The people who said that they are bad had them on heavy duty diesel trucks and on a Ranger im thinking that they will be fine. I have friends running them and they can't get stuck at all. Seem to be a good all terrain tire with a super agresive tread for self cleaning in mud. after i get them ill give you an update both on the truck and how i like the tires.

They might not be what you want but I've ran 10.5 33's KM2's last couple of years.Very good tires my friends run Maxxis Big Horns in a nice EB and a TJ I think mine does a little better.

Ya i know I'm not going to get in a lot of mud but if I do get into some i wanna get out too.

mud countrys will probably be my next set
