If I had the money and use for a 2wd truck, yes. I have seen more miles on those. Take care of it and it should last.

I'd be more worried if it only had 152 miles on it.

Then you have to deal with things like flat spots on the engine bearings.

Milage really isn't that bad, but the price for such a truck is too high IMO.

NO, Its way too far for me to drive to pick up a 4 cyl Ranger.

All jokes aside, the mileage wouldnt scare me away.

Price is a little high. 152k is nothing. That truck is still a baby. Mine has 218k on the original engine.

My 96 with the 4 cylinder had over 400k miles on it before I traded it and it still ran great.

I wouldn't give him half that..... have you looked around at any other Rangers? They just don't go that high, find a newer 4wd and be done with it. or off him 2k dollars cash. But that is nothing for mileage....... no reason anyone cant get 250k + out of a 2.3 5spd 2wd if i did, and I'm hell on vehicles. I traded it for a 98 Mazda Protege that gets 32mpg we just swapped daily drivers.

As said, that mileage is nothing but he needs to drop at least 1k off the price.
