It seems a little narrow for the newer style bed. IIRC you need a 60" wide cap.

LOL, I am in the same boat kind of, but I was trying to find an aluminum work cap to no avail, but after my Mazda got written off i am going to order a new one with the options I want, and I have done tons of measuring.

I remember AllanD saying the inside of the Ranger Bed was the same size, but the outside was changed in 1993. If the location is close, might be worth a test fit if you really like it. Probably would be more narrow than the cab, but probably wouldn't look to bad.

I had one of those old aluminum camper shells on my 94 when I bought it. That thing came off quick. Super ugly. Now it's sitting in my storage. I'd love to get rid of the damn thing but I'm not spending money to advertise the thing in the paper. lol
