Would Explorer Cargo Coils level out my Ranger?

I am wondering if a Explorer Cargo coil would lift the front end of my Ranger to level it out? I'm just wondering since i heard explorer coils can lift around a inch and the coil being a "cargo" coil would be able to handle the load. There is a noticeable price difference between a Moog cargo coil and a skyjacker leveling coil. Let me know guys, Thanks a bunch

I suppose it would give you a small lift... but for the amount of lift, you could just use F150 spacers, keep your ride quality and pocket the spare cash or use it to help pay for the alignment you're gonna need after you install the spacers.

Only ones I have are machined to a specific height and installed on my explorer. You should be able to find some at the wrecking yards though. Bucks, Tin Man... you know the list. If you need to see what they look like, you can look at mine. I'm sure we're not too far from each other.

I actually did that to my Ranger. They worked fairly well on a 4 cylinder. I got new ones from an explorer at the upullit. My ride quality did not suffer because mine are the "progressive rate" wind. If I were to do it again, I would throw a few fender washers under them to get a tiny bit more, but I am very pleased with the swap and the coils cost me $13 for the pair. I'll take a picture of how mine sits and post it tonight.

Oh, well that ain't good. I'm usually either here in Winnipeg or in Arborg. I'll see about snapping some pics and shooting them off to you.
