I had those last month. They aren't fun whatsoever. It's called Staph infection. There's different kinds of it, but if you don't pop them to get the puss out and get on antibiotics, then they can f_ck you up royally. I had "MRSA" which is the worst kind if I remember right.
I had four abcesses. The biggest one was to the point that it kept my right arm from moving. I had it lanced and took two weeks to heal up. The other three were on my left arm and were smaller. They took alot of warm compresses to get them soft enough to pop, but at least I didn't have to have them lanced (more painful than you'd think)
I put a picture of the largest one after being lanced on myspace. I don't know if anyone would want to see that though.
Usually either a clogged pore or an infected hair follicle.Gross. How do you get them?
Usually either a clogged pore or an infected hair follicle.
When I was a teenager and got zits on my back, the really big ones I'd pop by wrapping some pieces of Kleenex around a pair of pliers. If I had a nice tight one without a head, I could hit the mirror with the juice if I squeezed it just right.
Good times....![]()
