wont start!!!!

hey i have a 94 3.0 ranger and it wont start it has no spark.when i pull the ecu relay it sparks from the coil for a sec same with the fule pump it turns on for a sec then shuts off i cant figure out why any suggestions??

Crankshaft position sensor. This sensor controls the ignition timing and spark. It gave me fits and they do go bad, as do the cam sensors which controls the fuel timing. Without a signal from either of these the engine will not start.

i forgot to mention it ran the other day then i pulled the battery to put it in my bronco project put it back in and i tryed starting it and it cranks alll the lights come on but nothing. i also tryed cleaning the cable ends it almost seems like a short because the relay trips out after i but it back in its really weard caues i just pulled the batt im stumped i got a manual time to start going through a ton of wires

when u pull the batt. it restarts the computers .. so everything should go back to basic starting procedure.... id put a tester on the pcm to see if theres a code and go from there ..that just a little odd

its the distributer i took it out and all the magnets fell into my hands then i went to the jy to get another one i took it off a 1993 taurs 3.0 and its different ugh back to the yard

fixed it was the distributer then the next day the clutch master went.But its all fixed now thanks for the help guys!
