I have a 92 Ford Ranger I have replaced: coil pack, crank sensor and breaker fuse. It was running one day would not start the next. Any other thoughts appreciated.

Fuel
Air
Spark
Timing

Missing one.

Have you verified spark using a calibrated spark tester?
Have you verified fuel?

Usually it's those two... Pull a spark plug wire off the coil pack and use a test light (NOT an LED test light. Old school with the bulb). Hold the probe end close to the coil pack 'prong' and see if it jumps with an arc with a helper cranking it. (Yeah you want the ground clip on a good ground) It should be able to jump an arc of at least 1/4" or more.

If you have spark:

Remove the air cleaner. Give it a quick shot of starter fluid, or brake clean will also work. NOT a lot!! If the engine fires up and runs for a few seconds, you're looking at a fuel issue.

Yes, ^^^

Welcome to TRS :)

50/50 test
Spray starting fluid(ether) or gas into the intake
Try to start

If it starts then dies fuel is the issue

If it doesn't start then spark is the issue

50/50 narrows it down alot
